MintAI announced on the 30th that it has launched an innovative project in collaboration with Punkvism—developer of the Punky Kongz RWA project—using AI and Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization technologies based on NAVER Cloud’s infrastructure. The initiative follows Punkvism’s strategic MOU with NAVER Cloud.
At the heart of this project is a 3D “Miniroom” business model designed to evoke nostalgia for Cyworld, Korea’s iconic early social platform. By utilizing NFTs as AI agents, the project will offer free Minirooms to users and build a unique digital community environment.
MintAI, headquartered in Indonesia, is a joint venture between NDEEPS, a company specializing in AI technologies, and Mintline (formerly Newmold), known for its past work in the art-based Security Token Offering (STO) space.
MintAI is co-led by Doo-sik Lee, a developer and former professional at Microsoft, NAVER, and KTB Investment & Securities, who gained recognition for his early contributions to platforms such as Auction and Cyworld during Korea’s dot-com boom.
The other co-CEO, Dae-hee Lee, brings extensive experience in the arts and culture sectors. He has served as CEO of Seojeong Art Center, Chairman of the Seojeong Cultural Foundation, and CEO of Seojeong Art Printing. His curatorial credentials include Artistic Director of the Korea-China Minority Artist Exhibition (2016), Co-Artistic Director of the Nottingham Biennale (2019), and Director of the UKYA YBA Awards at Saatchi Gallery in the same year.
Punkvism, the driving force behind the blockchain-based Punky Kongz RWA project, is building a Web3 financial ecosystem by developing membership services and NFT trading systems that link physical and digital assets. Through this partnership, Punkvism and MintAI aim to create a 3D Miniroom and AI-based NFT ecosystem that redefines how digital assets can be utilized.
MintAI also plans to go beyond the Miniroom platform by collaborating with Seojeong Art Center to establish an RWA-based art platform. This will connect physical assets such as artworks to the blockchain, thereby strengthening the scalability of the digital economy.
NAVER Cloud will provide cloud-based big data infrastructure and AI technology for MintAI’s RWA project, and support the development of metaverse platforms and AI agents—enhancing the credibility and technical backbone of the initiative.
Hyun-ki Hwang, CEO of Punkvism, commented, “This collaboration will open a new paradigm in digital assets by integrating AI with RWA. Through a user-centric community and an art-based economic ecosystem, we aim to gain global competitiveness.”
Industry experts view this convergence of metaverse, blockchain, and AI technologies as a bold move that could accelerate the future of the digital economy.
